The QHotels Collection implements combined mobile POS and payments across its estate to increase F&B revenue and enhance its guest experience

The QHotels Collection, a unique collection of 19 hotels and resorts located across Great Britain, has implemented xnPOS Mobile Pay, a combined POS and payment solution on a truly mobile device, across all 19 of its venues.

The QHotels Collection is a long standing customer of Xn Global Systems using xn dotPOS, the predecessor product to xnPOS, for over twenty years before taking the decision to upgrade their point of sale system to xnPOS in 2022.

The xnPOS system gives the ability to centrally manage the maintenance of all menu items while still retaining flexibility for some local items to be managed at the hotel level. Recognising the potential benefits of mobile technology The QHotels Collection wanted to replace their existing Samsung tablet mobile ordering solution and equip all their servers with a truly mobile combined POS and payments platform. A pilot of xnPOS Mobile Pay using POS on PAX handheld devices and Planet payments was a huge success with both the achievement of increased revenue targets and a high level of acceptance and rapid adoption by the hotel team. As a result of the successful pilot The QHotels Collection has now completed a roll out of over 200 xnPOS mobile devices across its entire portfolio.
