New log-in process for xnPOS workstation
The main POS login view screen now will look like below. Before Workstation is Opened, it will initially show the virtual terminals (within the same identity group) and a Functions button only.
Any additional functions (which were previously shown on the main POS screen) have been moved to a new Functions screen, accessed via the “Functions” button as shown above.
Note: Sign In, Sign Out, Workstation Open/Close, Store Functions are no longer on the main screen, these are accessible via “Functions” button
The user now needs to access “Functions” button to proceed with Workstation Open, and then only the Sign In buttons will be activated.
In below screen, we see “Workstation Open” button, which means workstation is not opened yet, that’s why “Sign In” button and many other buttons are inactive.
Once Workstation is Opened, it will take you to the Main POS Screen, and from there you need to access the “Functions” button again to proceed with Sign In:
Since Workstation is now Opened, hence “Workstation Open” button is replaced with “Workstation Close” button, and “Sign In” button is now enabled. Many other buttons are also enabled as you can see below:
We will now “Sign In” as normal. The Login buttons for signed in operators will now show on main POS Login screen, as you can see below:
